Microscan Service SA is an independent scientific centre for microscopy, microanalysis and clean room technology consulting. Founded in 1981 by
Dr Tauno Jalanti, PhD engineer and physicist,
Microscan Service SA has developed for more than 26 years, in the following fields:

ASBESTOS:
Tracking and analysis of suspicious materials in buildings concentration measurement of asbestos fibres in the air.

MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION:
Failure analysis, research of the origin of corrosion, fractography, material characterization.

SAMPLING AND CONTAMINANTS:
Characterisation of (micro) contaminants and consulting in contamination prevention.

FORENSIC SCIENCE:
Sampling and characterisation of gun shot residues (GSR)
