GUNSHOT RESIDUE ANALYSIS

Microscan Service SA has the equipment, the skills and the ISO 17025 accreditation for the gunshot residue analysis.

Validation of the SEM / EDX analysis for the GSR detection:

• Procedure audited by an expert from the Federal Police in accordance with ASTM E1588-10
• Using the SPS-5P-2 standard (Plano GmbH, Germany) containing SbBaPb particles of known size and distribution for the adjustment, calibration and validation of the system
• Annual ENFSI (European Network of Forensic Science Institute) interlaboratory test.
